Israel Committee

When you look beyond the conflict and politicization of the land of Israel, you can only come to a single conclusion: it is site to behold. From the waterfalls in the Golan Heights to the Red Sea and Red Canyon in Eilat, Israel truly is one of the most beautiful and interesting places on Earth. If you want to plan events that showcase Israel's beauty, culture and history rather than the politics and the drama that constantly shroud it, contact Hannah Glickman.


RISD Kehilla

Shabbat Committee

Wisdom Committee

Alef Beats

The Alef Beats are Brown RISD Hillel's Jewish a capella group. Founded in 2005, they perform in English, Hebrew, and Yiddish at events around Brown University, as well as exotic locales like Brookline, MA and Brandeis University. The Beats sing a variety of traditional Jewish songs, as well as a wide range of contemporary music by Jewish singers and songwriters, from Simon & Garfunkel to Andy Samberg. Hillel Gallery Project

The Hillel Gallery Project is a collaborative of Brown and RISD students who organize and curate art exhibitions throughout the year, including juried shows of Brown and RISD students, senior shows, and many other great solo and group exhibitions. Puzzle Peace

Puzzle Peace is a student group educating and advocating for peace and social justice in Israel and Palestine. We seek to create a safe space for educational events, discussions, and dialogue in order to de-polarize the discourse surrounding the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, being both critical and constructive in order to achieve these ends. if you would like more information or have questions, please send an email to puzzlepeace.brown@gmail.com.


Queer Hillel

Queer Hillel provides a forum for lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, transgender, and queer students. The twin goals of Queer Hillel as an "identity group" are to demonstrate that Hillel is a safe space for LGBTQ individuals and to build community. Contact Ben Gellman: Benjamin_Gellman@Brown.edu


Yarmulkazi
