Prospective Student Shabbaton

Attention: high school students from around the country.

On November 11th, 2011, Brown-RISD Hillel in Providence, RI will be hosting a Shabbaton for prospective Jewish students interested in attending Brown University or the Rhode Island School of Design. This is a great opportunity to spend a night at the university, experience the Jewish life on campus, and really get a feel for whether or not you can see yourself here in the future. Highlights include services and meals, a fun evening program, social programming, campus tours, outdoor activities, and the chance to meet other prospective and current students.

The Shabbaton will begin at 3:30 PM on Friday, November 11th and will conclude at 6:00 PM on Saturday, November 12th. Students can be dropped off and picked up at Brown-RISD Hillel (80 Brown Street, Providence, RI 02906). The Shabbaton is free, and all prospective students will be hosted in dorms by current students. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Josh Block at joshua_block@brown.edu. If you are interested in attending, please fill out this form and send it to Josh no later than Thursday, October 27th.
