*Completed at least four years of college.
*Significant travel experience, including participation in an Israel educational program.
*Extensive leadership experience, preferably working with teenagers.
*Strong Jewish background and demonstrated ability to lead an inclusive Shabbat experience.
*High energy and ability to work within a team setting.
*Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

The DeLeT (Day school Leadership through Teaching) program at Brandeis University offers a unique opportunity to earn a Masters of Arts in Teaching from Brandeis University and MA state licensure through our 13 month program that prepares elementary Jewish, general studies, or (new this year!) Hebrew day school teachers. DeLeT interns spend a full academic year working in a local day school classroom with a mentor teacher in addition to Brandeis course work.

Jewish Thought and Enduring Human Questions
Eligibility: Undergraduates (first degree students), including those graduating this academic year.

Exceptional students from around the world will convene in Princeton to study Jewish texts, Jewish thought, and Jewish perspectives on the great questions of human life. They will be guided by world-class scholars and teachers, including: Leora Batnitzky, Director of the Tikvah Project at Princeton University, Moshe Halbertal (Hebrew University), Michael Walzer (Institute for Advanced Study), Leon Kass (University of Chicago), Steven Smith (Yale University), Christine Hayes (Yale University), and many more. Topics for this year’s program include Tradition and Authority, Evil and Suffering, Love and Desire, God and Politics, and a special two-day symposium on The Future of Jews and Judaism. Students will have opportunities to engage in both formal and informal conversations with faculty and to hear debates and lectures about contemporary issues relevant to the Jewish future. Dorm accommodations and kosher meals will be provided. Travel costs will be covered for international students and grants, based on need, are available for students in North America. Tikkun Olam in Tel Aviv-Jaffa
A 5 or 10 month Masa service learning volunteer program located in Israel and geared towards post-graduate Jews. Choose from the Social Action track and have an opportunity to volunteer with refugees from Darfur and Eritrea, new immigrants, youth at risk and more, or the Coexistence track volunteering within organization that promote Israeli-Arab coexistence in the picturesque city of Jaffa. All participants take part in classes on Jewish identity, social action, and Israeli society, culture and contemporary issues.
A great way for your graduates to gain a valuable volunteer experience while exploring their Jewish identity and relationship with Israel, especially before they start their full time employment. Also, stating this year Tikkun Olam will be the first and only Masa program to accept Israelis.
Thanks to our new Tikkun Olam Israel Scholarship Fund awarded to enrolling participants who have proven excellence in the field of social action and/or active involvement within their Jewish community, participants can now join our program for as little as $500 for the entire year.

Livnot U'Lehibanot - To Build and Be Built
A community service and hiking program in Northern Israel that runs in partnership with the Jewish Agency. It is a fusion of hiking, volunteering, experiential seminars, identity and spirituality workshops and community in an integrated Israel experience for young Jewish adults ages 21 - 30 who wish to use some of their Israel Trip to give back to the community. The program is located in the northern town of mystical Tzfat, the center of Kabbalah. The challenging hikes (2 - 3 per week) could include a night hike to an ancient synagogue, a three day sea-to-sea hike, and an overnight desert experience. Volunteering could include: A Crusaders Fortress Park Preservation Project and excavating 16th century Tzfat buildings.

The American Hebrew Academy (AHA)
AHA, a Jewish pluralistic college prep boarding school located in Greensboro, NC, is looking for ten post-college graduate students its Fellowship program. Fellows gain valuable career advancing skills while working with students academically, residentially, and Jewishly (formal and informal). For both students and residential staff, AHA provides an environment that is nurturing to the mind, body, and soul. AHA Fellows receive an apartment, food, a stipend, and health benefits. Israel Teaching Fellows
100 exemplary North American college graduates will be chosen to teach in underprivileged communities in Israel for a 10-month service program. In order to address Israel's educational inequity and the widespread underperformance of youth in low-income communities, Masa Israel Journey and Israel’s Ministry of Education have launched Israel Teaching Fellows to serve as volunteer English teachers’ aides throughout Israel. A few spots are available for knowledgeable student activists to join the CAMERA Fellows Representatives in Israel from June 16-26. The theme of the highly popular trip is "Israel Behind The Headlines: Understanding Media Coverage of the Arab-Israeli Conflict." Students will:
*** Learn about Israel's existential struggle and the influential role played by news coverage of events in Israel
*** Gain first-hand knowledge of the factors influencing coverage of the Arab-Israeli conflict
*** Meet with international journalists, policy makers, world-renowned academics, and government leaders
*** Participate in training sessions about media coverage and how to help promote sound reporting
*** Visit top Israeli institutions and meet PR experts to learn how to effectively communicate a message
*** Tour key sites relevant to news reports
*** Participate on special tours, such as an archeological rescue effort of artifacts from the Temple Mount
*** Explore the diversity of Israel
*** Mingle with young Israelis
Highlights from our past trips include attending a jazz festival at the ancient ruins of Caesarea, touring a Golan winery, visiting the Tel Aviv beach and a Kibbutz on the Kinneret.

Birthright Excel - Free 10-week fellowship in Israel
Taglit-Birthright Israel is excited to announce the launch of Birthright Excel, a selective 10-week summer fellowship program in Israel for 20 talented Jewish rising college juniors and seniors from around the world who are planning to pursue careers in business and/or technology. During the all-expense paid program, each Birthright Excel Fellow will intern at a prominent Israeli company with global reach from a wide selection of industries, including finance, consulting, hi-tech, and social media. Birthright Excel Fellows will attend meetings with distinguished Israeli leaders from business, technology, politics and philanthropic organizations, and partake in workshops on a broad range of business topics including leadership, Jewish identity, communication, and teamwork.
