Giving Priorities
At Brown RISD Hillel, we prepare students to take their place in the
wider Jewish world. We provide an open, warm, and
pluralistic environment in which students can shape their college
experience by connecting socially, culturally, and spiritually to the
Jewish community and to Israel.
But, we cannot do this alone. We
rely on the generosity of our alumni, parents, and community members to
make this vision a reality. Contributions to our Annual Fund
provide unrestricted support to our five pillars of programmatic
activity: Arts and Culture, Israel, Religious Life and Learning,
Tzedek (Social Justice), and Student Engagement. Designated gift
opportunities are available for those donors who wish to support
a specific initiative with a gift over $1,000.
The following list provides a sense of the dollars needed to engage our students throughout the year.
- $25,000: Overseas Service Project
- $15,000: A Year of the Hillel Gallery Project
- $10,000: Taglit-Birthright Israel Follow-up
- $4,000: One community Shabbat dinner
- $3,000: One semester of Jewish Engagement Micro Grants
- $250: One Lunch and Learn
- Gifts
of all sizes make an enormous difference to Brown RISD Hillel's ability
to give students the resources necessary to meeting their programming
needs.
Thank you for helping our students embrace
Jewish life on campus and helping to prepare them as Jewish leaders
beyond their time on College Hill.
